This is great because the dress allows you to be the focal point rather than the dress itself. Metallics are another more glam option to take center stage. If you want to shine but aren't into super girly sequins & add-ons, try metallics.

 

 

 

Hemlines: The sky is the limit for skirt length this year. Traditional long gowns are abundant alongside shorter dresses as well. The asymmetrical high/low hemline is back also. Bottom line, try them all before making a decision, and go with what you feel best in.

 

 

 

 

Vintage: Whether you've found an actual vintage dress or purchased a new take on an old look, going vintage for prom is definitely hot this year. Channel old Hollywood glam to feel like a star on prom night. Continue the vintage feel with your hairstyle and make up choices to complete the look.
